On behalf of our sponsors, event volunteers, and staff, we thank all who participated in Seoul Webfest 2019.
To our Creators:
Thank you for bringing your hard work and passion to Seoul. To those who attended this year's event, a special thanks to you. You all brought the flavor to our stage. Beyond networking, you provided support to fellow creators and event volunteers with enthusiasm and forever friends were made. We hope you will continue creating web series and join us again.
To our Sponsors:
Thank you for making this event possible. Your support of Korean and International creative content encourages and supports filmmakers and creators in bringing quality series here to Seoul Webfest. Your support and gifts to the attendees are generous and much appreciated by all. Through this event, visitors from many countries will experience the warmth and welcoming spirit of the people of South Korea. Attendees will take home their memories of South Korea and share their experiences in Seoul with the people of their country.
To our FAM Tour Hosts:
Thank you for inviting our international Guests and special sponsors to experience the majestic Lotte World Tower and the peaceful beauty of Yeosu. Spectacular views from the Lotte World Tower and Seoul Sky Observatory, an amazing lunch, and networking event were enjoyed by all attendees. Yeosu extended a warm welcome to their beautiful city, including a special greeting from their Mayor. Guests enjoyed the sights of the city by sea, air, and land. Your generosity and hospitality will be remembered by all. You truly showed the hospitality and warmth of South Korea. (more on the tours coming to the website)
To our Venue and Staff at Hotel Park Habio:
Thank you for providing a beautiful venue. Your staff at the venue and front desk were always courteous and helpful with whatever was needed. They always responded quickly when the unexpected came up. All attendees were delighted with your rooms, breakfast and event coordination. Thank you for having us for the second year in a row.
To our Event Volunteers and Staff:
For an event this size, it takes thousands of hours in preparation of the event, during the event, and after. Most worked behind the scenes, but without them the event would not have gone on. We do not have an official list as many jumped in during our time of need. So to all of you, a huge thanks to you from The Seoul Webfest.
In the world of festivals, we are just a 'baby' with only 5 years completed. Each year we grow and try new things. Some work, some not so much. Each year we learn how to provide a better event for our attendees. We've already got a list for next year.
However, the goals for our event remain the same. It is our goals to provide a festival where attendees can:
showcase their work
meet other creators to discuss the industry and create a support group for one another
make new friends
be recognized for the work in their series
have a heck of a lot of FUN!
If we met one or more of these goals for each of you, we have succeeded.
